Alvi Contributes To Small Business Growth Through a New Edition of "Drive Your Business"

In order to continue to support the development of local businesses, Alvi—a subsidiary of SMU—has launched the second edition of “Drive Your Business” (Impulsa Tu Negocio) an initiative designed to support its B2B customers in managing and growting their businesses, using tools such as digitalization. Through this effort, Alvi seeks to continue making a positive impact, creating shared value in surrounding communities.
In this new edition, “Drive Your Business” features a comprehensive support plan. Key benefits include three funding grants of up to CLP 2 million for equipment, 35 specialized mentorships in partnership with Simón de Cirene, digital licenses, and “Do It with AI” workshops. In total, 60 B2B customers will receive various tools aimed at improving the management, operations, and growth potential of their businesses.
The program is open to businesses registered with Club Alvi, who must apply through a web-based form describing their business and how they would use the funding. Throughout the process, participants can also earn points by using Club benefits, such as redeeming coupons, leveraging partner offers, and maintaining or upgrading their membership level.
Francisco Gaete, CEO of Alvi, stated: “We have more than 120,000 B2B customers, 30 years of experience, and a commitment to always being their most convenient option. That is why we continue to invest in initiatives that generate shared value and contribute to strengthening local commerce in every region where we operate. In this second edition of ‘Drive Your Business,’ we aim to further our purpose of supporting our partners through financing, mentorship, and training so their businesses become more efficient, profitable, and future-ready.”
The first edition of “Drive Your Business,” held in 2024, attracted more than 400 B2B customers from across Chile, with Club Sushi of Concepción, Minimarket Maná of Talagante, and El Colorín of Renca taking top honors, while an additional 30 customers received tools and support to strengthen their businesses.
The winner of the 2024 edition was Patricio Belmonte, owner of Club Sushi in Concepción, who said: “We needed a boost. Entrepreneurs are always short on resources to grow, and I found the contest in the app.” Similarly, Alejandro Gallardo, who placed third with his convenience store El Colorín de Renca, noted that he participated seeking to grow “more in the commercial space—getting new ideas, expanding my outlook, and scaling my business.”
The launch of this second edition marks the beginning of the application process, which will be followed by the selection phase and the awarding of benefits. The program will conclude in October at the annual Club Alvi Expo, where the awards ceremony for the 2026 edition winners will take place.
