Club Alvi Mayorista –a subsidiary of SMU– has inaugurated a new store in Puente Alto, its third in the commune and the chain’s twenty-fourth location in the Metropolitan Region.

The new store is located at Av. Gabriela Oriente 2750, Puente Alto, and spans 1,987 square meters. It features nine checkout registers for customers and a team of 34 employees, 65% of whom are women, with more than 80% residing in the commune.

“We continue strengthening our presence among our merchant partners in Puente Alto. With this third store in the area, we aim to support the growth of their businesses by offering an enhanced shopping experience, a broad assortment of products, and greater convenience,” said Francisco Gaete, Manager of the Alvi format.

With this opening, the wholesale format continues progressing in the company’s organic growth plan. At the beginning of the year, Alvi operated 36 stores, and today it totals 54 locations throughout Chile, spanning from the Coquimbo Region to Los Lagos, with more openings planned in the near future—including one in Punta Arenas. “We are steadily consolidating our position as the largest wholesale chain in the country,” Gaete added.

Additionally, Alvi now offers customers the option to shop online. Currently, four stores feature pickup points for merchant partners looking to streamline their purchases through the app or website and collect their orders at their nearest store.
