Residents of Rancagua now have a new Super 10 store, located at 1101 Doctor Salinas. It is the brand’s second location in the O’Higgins Region. The opening forms part of SMU’s 2026–2028 organic growth plan and marks the format’s first new store of 2026.

Super 10 is a soft discount format aimed at end consumers, with stores designed to simplify everyday shopping. Its sales floors feature shelves displaying the products currently in stock, along with efficient operating processes, including refrigeration and lighting systems that enable more responsible energy use.

The new store has a 950-square-meter sales floor and is designed to provide a fast, comfortable and convenient shopping experience. It features five checkout lanes to streamline the payment process, together with a value proposition focused on low prices, private-label brands and quality products that help families make the most of their budgets.

The opening also contributes to local job creation, with a team of 39 employees, 97% of whom live in the municipality. Women account for 59% of the workforce, further strengthening the new store’s connection with the community it serves.

The opening forms part of SMU’s 2026–2028 strategic plan, which includes 60 new stores across its different formats in Chile and Peru, including ten Super 10 locations. In this way, the company continues to make progress toward its goal of expanding its coverage and bringing its value propositions to more municipalities across the country.
