Retailers and Major Brands Gather at the Largest Trade Fair for Small Business Owners in Chile

On October 21, the Alvi Partners’ Meeting 2025 brought together thousands of business owners from Santiago and across Chile for a day filled with news, networking, and entertainment at the Movistar Arena. The event welcomed over 9,000 attendees, alongside 40 major suppliers and 80 brand stands, giving participants the opportunity to explore new products, discover business growth opportunities, and access exclusive promotions.
With more than 110,000 registered business partners shopping monthly at Alvi, the chain has become a leading player in supplying Chile’s traditional retail sector, operating 37 stores from La Serena to Puerto Montt. By the end of 2025, Alvi will expand its national presence to 57 locations, including a new opening in Punta Arenas.
“The goal of this meeting was to strengthen our relationship with Club Alvi members and create a space for connection between business owners from different regions and the main brands that supply the traditional trade channel. This new edition fostered business opportunities, experience-sharing, and tools to support our partners’ growth,” said Francisco Gaete, General Manager of Alvi.
Suppliers represented a wide range of product categories essential to small businesses, including staple foods, groceries, confectionery, breakfast items, snacks, beverages, cleaning and personal care products, cold cuts, dairy, frozen goods, bakery and pastry, as well as SMU’s private label brands—offering a comprehensive supply solution for store owners across the country.
Attendees also discovered the latest innovation trends, including AI-based tools, digital payment systems, and financing options, all designed to help build a more competitive and sustainable local retail ecosystem. The event also featured multiple prize raffles organized by Alvi and its suppliers, including gift cards, stocked coolers, business equipment, and more. The main sponsors offered major prizes such as a Caribbean trip for two (Carozzi), a trip to Brazil (Agro Commerce), a one-million-peso gift card (Softys), and a meat slicer (Agrosuper).
“It’s a great opportunity to strengthen ties with suppliers, explore new ways to grow our businesses, and share experiences with other shopkeepers. Events like this let us exchange insights about our industry and look together toward future challenges,” said Felipe López, owner of Rúcula Banquetería in Linares.
The event, hosted by actor Jorge Zabaleta, also featured a stand-up comedy show by Juan Pablo López (López Comediante) and closed with a live performance by Zúmbale Primo, turning the Alvi Partners’ Meeting into a true celebration for the third consecutive year—and reaffirming its role as a unique space to strengthen traditional commerce and boost small business growth across Chile.
